Walk n' Talk with Elizabeth McGreevy & Nico Hauwert at Goat Cave Karst Preserve
April 25 from 9am - 11am
Guest speakers Elizabeth McGreevy, author of 2021 book: “Wanted! Mountain Cedars Dead and Alive” to discuss ashe juniper (cedar) deforestation in Central Texas and environmental effects.
Hydrogeologist Nico Hauwert, Ph.D. will discuss Austin’s caves and the Edwards Aquifer. We will conduct volunteer work including trash pickup, patrolling for fence cuts and campfires. We will not enter caves this trip.
Where: 3900 Davis Ln, Austin, TX 78749.
What to bring: Closed-toe shoes, pants, and water. This is more of a walk and talk but we may do some light trash pickup.
Parking: Park next to water quality pond or along Coastal Drive.
Habitat Happy Hour at The Little Darlin!
Join us May 6th from 6PM - 8PM at The Little Darlin, in South Austin. We'll be outside with a SACA sign and/or in SACA shirts.

East Williamson Creek Cleanup
May 9 from 9am - 11am
Join us for a cleanup along East Williamson Creek near IH-35.
Where: 5501 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78744.
What to bring: Closed-toe shoes, pants, and water.
Parking: Park in the Northwest corner of the parking lot of the BMW dealership. This is a designated space for visitors of the nature trail just north of the dealership along Williamson Creek.
